- Forrest Gump How many inspirational films have you seen? “Forrest Gump”, a famous inspirational film, is an adaptation of the novel of the same name. Forrest is a boy with weak intelligence. His classmates always bully him. With Jenny’s help, he got a skill called “Run”. With that skill, he got college degree. With that degree, he got an opportunity to join the army. With that opportunity, he became famous. He got success in the end. “Forrest Gump” teaches us to value persistence, kindness and promise.
The secret of success is persistence. “Life was like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get.” Forrest’s mom said that to him. I think his mom wanted to let him know, never give up easily. Because he didn’t know what will happen in next second. Maybe you will get success in next second. In the middle school, Forrest started to run in order to avoid classmates’ fight. If he stops running, I do trust he won’t know he is good at running in his life. So persistence is an important quality.
